A New Look for Advantage Packaging
Veterinarians and pet owners alike will soon see a distinctive, new look for the dog and cat flea-control line of products.
In an effort to further differentiate its Advantage product line from over-the-counter and international products, Bayer Animal Health will launch redesigned packaging beginning in October 2005.
The new packaging combines a professional look, a more distinctive Bayer logo, and greater use of familiar colors and type to communicate the appropriate dosage strength.
The feline products will now be packaged in boxes, similar to the dog line, to streamline the look of the entire Advantage brand. Both lines will continue to be offered in four and six packs.
"Our veterinary customers were telling us that we needed to differentiate our product packaging from over-the-counter look-alikes, as well as from international products," said Drew Mantek, Marketing Manager, Bayer Animal Health.
Their shelf space is becoming more and more crowded with flea products. They want to be sure the Bayer Advantage products are clearly distinguishable from other flea-control products on the market, plus it's an important part of protecting the veterinarian's business and our brand image, Mantek said.
